The Royal Society of Chemistry has run successful conferences on oil industry topics over the last 20 years. The last three in this series, Chemistry in the Oil Industry VII, VIII & IX, were co-hosted by EOSCA and held at the Manchester Conference Centre in November 2001, November 2003 and November 2005.

The papers for the first of these have been published in the hard back book "Chemistry in the Oil Industry VII: Performance in a Challenging Environment" which can be obtained from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
